Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Portage Lakes Career Center and RG Drage Career Center have partnered with University of Akron to offer students FREE Associate's Degrees while in high school.

Hear about an unprecedented model that will allow our students to earn a FREE Associate Degree from The University of Akron’s College of Applied Science and Technology (CAST) while completing their high school experience. Early College High School (ECHS) students earn technical credits through their career technical program and complete their academic general education requirements with University of Akron faculty.

All college expenses, including textbooks and tuition, are covered by PLCC. Each Associate Degree has a path to a Bachelor’s Degree and additional graduate education opportunities at The University of Akron and other institutions across Ohio.

ECHS is an opportunity to learn technical skills, attain industry certifications, prepare for a career, and earn a college degree upon graduation from high school – AT NO COST.
